Larry Sanders, promised his 10-year-old son Cal a kayak trip through the Alaskan wilderness. Larry goes even though he remains preoccupied with a marriage on the brink of disaster and a life that is beginning to look hopeless. But all those concerns suddenly become secondary when in a split second their lives are capsized. Father and son are thrust into a chain of events that will change their lives forever.
